Reminder: White and Gold Game on April 13

Now that Spring is officially upon us, remember to save the date to join your Zeta Beta Tau brothers at Georgia Tech’s White and Gold game on Saturday, April 13. Kickoff this year is at 1PM ET.

The Spring game serves as a great opportunity to hang out with your old Xi buddies and forge new traditions over a weekend of tailgating, reminiscing, and brotherhood.

If you haven’t done so already, plan to reconnect with your brothers during White and Gold weekend. You’ll be glad that you did.

Xi Chapter Hosts Atlanta ZBT Regional Officer Institute

Xi Chapter was pleased to host the ZBT Regional Officer Institute held in Atlanta on February 4.  This year marks the first in-person version of this program since the Covid-19 pandemic.  Several dozen officer delegates from numerous area chapters gathered on Georgia Tech campus to learn about being effective in their officer positions, creating a greater fraternity experience, motivating the chapter as a whole, and responding to anti-Semitism threats on campus, among other topics.

The Tech brothers organized the classroom venues for the ZBT International staff who conducted the event, and they hosted some of the visiting brothers from other chapters at the house over the weekend.

The ROIs are an educational program sponsored by the ZBT Foundation.  Previous versions of this program have been called regional conclaves and Dover Days.

Xi Chapter Marrow Donor Drive Results in Life-Saving Match

ZBT hosts a drive on campus each fall for Gift of Life Marrow Registry, which seeks to find matching donors for those in need of bone marrow transplants.  The brothers set up tables at the Student Center  and asked donors to provide DNA swabs. They are then sent  to Gift of Life so that they can be stored and potentially matched to those with serious medical situations and in need of bone marrow transplants.

We have just received word that our marrow drive held at Georgia Tech in October of 2022 resulted in a life-saving match for a 25-year-old man battling Acute Myelogenous Leukemia!

Gift of Life has been an official service and philanthropic partner of ZBT since 2017.

Zeta Beta Tau’s New Year Resolution

How many of us set New Year’s resolutions goals each year, only to forget about them halfway through January? We know we are guilty of that! Looking for a pal that you lost touch with after graduation, don’t worry, we have you covered! Log in and head to the Directory tab on the home page, then from there you can search for all your long-lost pals from over the years.

Already planning a reunion or small get together this summer? Send us a message by heading to the Submit an Update page on the website. We will share it in our next communications. This is also a great place to share your updates with your brothers!

Happy New Year, Brother!

Happy New Year, Brother! Our wish for you in 2024 is for a year filled with happiness, peace, good health, and prosperity. As we continue to reflect on 2023, we must keep at the for front of our minds, the mission and objective of Zeta Beta Tau, and the responsibility we have as alumni to the place that has provided us with the foundation skills for our success we have now.

Now as alumni, we ask that you continue to put your best foot forward to help support not only our alumni events and communications, but that we continue to help perpetuate our undergrad chapter forward so that these fine young undergraduates can experience all the opportunities we had during our time in Zeta Beta Tau.

For those who are able, please consider a monetary donation by CLICKING HERE, this will also get you a spot on the Honor Roll, FOUND HERE. We thank you in advance for your continued support.

Zeta Beta Tau alumni, where are you now?

As the years go by since our time as undergraduates at Georgia Tech came to an end, it can be increasingly difficult to keep tabs on what our Xi Chapter buddies have been up to. Time passes, life gets in the way, and we naturally lose touch.

To fight that progressive drift, we want to hear from you! What have you been up to since the ZBT days? Have you reconnected with any fellow alumni? Have you been thinking about any good stories from back in the day? We want to know!

CLICK HERE to submit any updates or stories you want to share, and we will publish it in an upcoming eLetter or newsletter!

The Benefits of Brotherhood

As you know, being a part of a fraternity offers more than just a social experience—as brothers, we gained a sense of community, a place to call home, preparation for post-grad life, and the life-changing, lifelong benefits of friendship, leadership, and shared values.

  • What do 85% of the executives of Fortune 500 companies and 80% of United States Presidents since 1900 have in common? According to Fraternity Advisor, they were all members of Greek organizations during college.
  • Fraternity and sorority membership helps young men and women cultivate leadership skills, gain a sense of social identity, and learn to work well with others. Fraternities and sororities not only offer the context to develop these skills but, just as importantly, can often help students work toward future internships and job opportunities. Employers like seeing the documented leadership experience that fraternity life can provide.
  • Networking is an integral part of the college experience and Greek life provides one of the strongest foundations for social interfacing with a network of peers. Greek organizations help build networks that often prove beneficial to students when looking for internships, employment, recommendations, or employees.

Zeta Beta Tau takes young men and shapes them into functioning adults through leadership in the fraternity, charity work within the community, and networking for post-grad life. Greek life is an essential part of any collegiate system.

Collecting personal testimonials about the fraternity experience is important to our legacy. CLICK HERE and let us know how the benefits of Zeta Beta Tau impacted your life.
